Crutch Skins

The name of this product says exactly what it is: A “skin” to cover or decorate your crutches! I have never seen anything like it, but I think it is a veryclever idea!

Walker

I don’t have to use crutches, a cane or a walker (not yet, anyway) but if you do, you will now be able to make your walking into a fabulous accessory! You can have a stylish, attractive walking aid. They also come in styles that the kids will like. There 28 different designs to choose from, but if you don’t see one you like, you can design your own for a small fee.

Crutch Skins are self adhering, they need no tools to apply or remove except for a pair of scissors, removes with no residue. The one time use product can stay on for up to seven years. the 3M medical grade material can be sanitized repeatedly.

Crutch

Prices for Crutch Skins range from $7.99 for IV poles, up to $16.99 for XL crutches. Custom designs cost an additional fee.

The inventor of Crutch Skins, Abby Appelt, was born with a congential defect that caused her to be on crutches six times in 10 years. She says “Over the years I have attended weddings, moved twice to new cities, and attended numerous social events, all of which I needed to use my boring gray crutches. Boring has never been my personality. I wanted my “necessary accessory” to be more lighthearted, to reflect something fun–not just announce my injury to the world.”

To find out more about this great product, go to their website, Crutch Skins, formerly known as Bling To Go. They also have a Facebook page.
