I received a very pretty Scalloped Lace Underwire bra from the folks over at Leading Lady. Leading Lady has a wonderful selection of bras for full figure women and nursing mothers. The one they sent me wasn’t just pretty, either. It was very comfortable, and supported me the way a bra should.

It has wide, soft straps, that I didn’t spend all day adjusting like I wind up doing with other bras. These straps stayed in place, and didn’t cut into my shoulders.

The band is wider, too, and has plenty of sets of hooks to make it a better fit. It is made of a satiny knit that feels very good next to your skin.

Do you scrapbook? I haven’t in a very long time, because I just don’t have room in my RV. But when I was asked to review this digital scrapbooking software, I decided to give it a try. I downloaded it from their website and installed it with just a couple of clicks.

I was surprised at how easy My Memories is to use. I was able to set it up and make a scrap page in less than thirty minutes! Here is the first page I made using My Memories:

To make this page with photos of my granddaughter, I chose the layout, the background texture and color, added my photos, and the added the text. I think this simple layout is very cute, and I have a nice scrapbook page that I can save or print out and frame.

For my second page, I chose some photos of my grandson, Owen. Again, I chose the layout, the background texture and color, added my photos and text. On this one I also used the Word Art feature to make Owen’s name look like fire!

My second page is a little more advanced!

I also made some collages of several photos so I could post just one big photo in a blog post. You can see them here.

Jambu Shoes Fall 2011 Styles

I recently received a pair of shoes from Jambu to wear and review. The pair I received was Wyndham in Moss. When these shoes arrived, the very first thing I noticed about them is how soft they are on the inside! But then, they didn’t fit. So, the second thing I noticed is that you may have to order a half size larger than you normally wear. Some shipping back and forth occurred, and then I was able to slip my Jambu Wyndhams on my feet and walk around in them.

These shoes have sherpa inside, with memory foam insoles, so it pretty much feel like you are walking on a cloud. You can wear socks with them, but even on a cold day at the North Rim I didn’t need socks with these shoes. Beside that they feel so good, I think they also look good on my feet.

Oh! So soft inside!

The soles are made of rubber, and they have suede uppers. The Wyndham comes in Black, Brown, and Moss. I love the moss color–they go well with jeans or dress pants.

Another thing I love about Jambu shoes is that while they are casual and rugged, they have a feminine touch to them. The Wyndham leaves a pretty footprint with these flowery rubber soles.
