It smelled delicious while cooking, and proved to be quite tasty. </span></p>

<p>One of the things I noticed about this sauce, is that it had whole cloves of garlic and whole basil leaves in it. Since my husband and I consider garlic to be a vegetable, this was very pleasant for us. However, if you aren&#8217;t as big of fans of garlic as we are, you might not appreciate that.  <span style="color: #000000;">The second thing I noticed was that this sauce was thinner than other sauces I have used, so I did have to simmer a while for it to be the consistency I wanted. The good part about that, though, was that the flavors mingled better. </span></p>

<p>Bottom line is, we both enjoyed this sauce. It had a hearty garlic flavor that we both love, and needed no addiitonal herbs or spices to perk it up. Because it is a gluten free product, I could eat knowing I wouldn&#8217;t get sick.</p>

<p>1/2 cup butter</p>
<p>1/4 cup chopped onion</p>
<p>1/4 cup chopped green pepper</p>
<p>4 beef steaks, sliced into 1 inch strips</p>
<p>Salt and pepper to taste</p>
<p>1 24-ounce jar <strong><a href="http://www.jelly.com/product.php?prod=MOMS000004" target="_blank">Mom’s Fresh Garlic &amp; Basil Spaghetti Sauce</a></strong></p>
<p>Melt butter in skillet; add chopped onion, green pepper, and sliced steak. Sauté until onions are translucent and steaks are browned, approximately 10 minutes. Pour <strong><a href="http://www.jelly.com/product.php?prod=MOMS000004" target="_blank">Mom’s Fresh Garlic &amp; Basil Spaghetti Sauce</a> </strong>over ingredients in skillet. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to simmer. Add water 1/4 cup at a time as needed. Simmer 2 hours or until steak is tender. Serve over rice with a tossed green salad. Serves 4.</p>
